Professional Experience

Currently of counsel with the firm, Art has practiced law with Walter & Haverfield since 1951. Formerly a senior partner of the firm, he has served on its Administration Committee, and as the firm's managing partner. Art has represented a number of closely-held businesses as corporate counsel, advising them on such a variety of matters including tax and benefits planning. He has served as a lecturer at the Cleveland Tax Institute and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

  • Art has long been active in Republican politics, the Citizens League of Cleveland, the Presbyterian Church and various professional organizations. He has also served as a lecturer at the Cleveland Tax Institute.
