Professional Experience
Jonathan is one of Walter & Haverfield’s most experienced trial attorneys. While he is most comfortable in the courtroom, he represents a broad range of business, municipal and private clients in all phases of the litigation process. He has been honored by Law & Politics magazine as an Ohio Super Lawyer in Employment & Labor Law, Litigation Services, and most recently in Business Litigation.
Business / Employment Litigation
Jon represents companies in breach of contract matters, corporate disputes, and employment-related litigation. He has successfully represented companies in multi-million dollar construction disputes, supply and requirement contract matters, as well as shareholder and closely-held corporate disputes. Jon has also successfully defended employers in race and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and other employment-related trials. He received defense verdicts in trials raising ADA, FMLA and other employment issues and an employer’s right to hire independent employees from an asset-only purchase out of bankruptcy.
