Professional Experience

Bob Crump is a partner with Walter & Haverfield LLP and serves on the firm's Management Committee. He has more than thirty years of experience in the commercial areas of legal practice and has developed a specialty in business transactions involving health care providers and other businesses in the health care industry. He is the section head of the firm's Health Care Practice Group. Bob has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine in the business/corporate and health care areas, and as one of Ohio's "leading lawyers" in Inside Business Magazine.

 

Bob has also represented hospitals in Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida on projects involving Medicare reimbursement and tax-exempt organization planning and reorganization of hospital structures.

Business Services and Capital Formation

Bob concentrates his business practice in service to health care industry businesses. He represents inventors, manufacturers and distributors of medical devices and medical products, physician specialty practices, limited license practitioner practices, single-specialty and multispecialty networks, ancillary diagnostic businesses, and ambulatory surgery centers. For these clients, Bob has handled mergers and acquisitions, projects involving Medicare reimbursement planning and avoidance of Medicare fraud and abuse violations, antitrust analysis and tax-exempt organization planning. Bob has also represented hospitals in Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida on projects involving Medicare reimbursement and tax-exempt organization planning and reorganization of hospital structures.
