Professional Experience
Herb began his career in 1972 advising high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses on a broad range of issues, concentrating in the areas of personal planning, estate planning, probate administration, taxation, business organizations and business succession.
As a noted speaker and instructor, Herb is frequently called upon to address audiences on complex estate planning and probate legal issues. Herb has been selected in 2004, 2005 and 2006 as an Ohio Super Lawyer by his peers. Known as an intimate advisor and counselor to his clients, he is also an active participant and leader in several civic, charitable, social and political organizations. Herb is an active member of the Development and Planned Giving Committees of the Arthritis Foundation, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Case Western Reserve University and the Metro Health Foundation.

- October, 2007 – Herb joined Michael Thacker of KeyBank in a presentation to the Cleveland Bar Estate Planning Institute “Trustees and Trustee Direction and Delegation Issues”.
- September, 2007 – At the Ohio State Bar Association’s Marvin Pliskin Estate Planning Seminar, in Columbus, Ohio, Herb gave a presentation on the new Model Rules of Professional Conduct and application to estate planners in Ohio.
- June 15, 2007 – Herb presented a seminar to the Cuyahoga County Bar Association in which he discussed the newly-enacted Ohio Trust Code
