

Professional Experience
Nate is a partner with Walter & Haverfield's Business Section. He focuses his practice in the areas of real estate law and financial services. Mr. Felker has experience in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including representing clients in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, sale lease-back transactions, borrower financing, negotiation of easements and other land-use agreements, and office, warehouse, industrial and retail leasing concerns.
Nate assists commercial banks, life insurance companies and other lending institutions in construction, permanent and mini-perm mortgage based financing, mezzanine lending and asset backed loans. His experience also includes representing lenders and special loan servicers in loan restructuring, forbearance agreements, note sales, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and other loan work-out matters.
Mr. Felker has counseled clients in a variety of industries, such as lending institutions (including special servicers), retailers, hospitals, property developers, self-storage companies, manufacturing companies, nonprofit organizations, government entities and restaurants.
Prior to his legal career, Nate served as Finance Director for the City of Brooklyn, Ohio and as Secretary to the City's Planning Commission and Zoning Board.

Presentations
- November 10-11, 2011 - Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's "33rd Annual Real Estate Law Institute." Nate served as moderator and panelist for a presentation dealing with the legal and practical aspects of the latest oil and gas drilling boom in Ohio, titled "Drill Baby Drill - Oil & Gas."
