We represent lenders aggressively and cost-efficiently in areas including construction and permanent-transaction mortgage lending; revolving credit, working capital, inventory and receivables financing; capital equipment loans and leases; mergers, acquisitions and buyout financing; tax enhanced loan transactions; loan workouts and collections; foreclosure and bankruptcy litigation; and loan closing services. Specifically, our attorneys have helped local and national lenders negotiate construction and permanent loans, as well as all types of leases for both landlords and tenants. We have also represented lenders in leasehold mortgage financing transactions and loans intended to be sold in the conduit market.

Our attorneys are experienced in financial institution litigation. They approach lawsuits from a business perspective, using creative solutions when appropriate. Our mergers, acquisitions and divestitures group counsel banking and financial industry clients in methods of acquiring and selling businesses, real estate, financing sources and methods, management compensation and employment contracts, as well as shareholder relations and employee benefits.

In the real estate area, the firm provides guidance in commercial lending issues. Our real estate attorneys have represented clients in various financing and real estate activities, including a $60 million master financing and acquisition and several large redevelopment, construction, acquisition and leasing projects. We also have significant experience in the acquisition, leasing and divestiture of office and retail bank owned properties. Through our creditors' rights practice, we help creditors obtain judgments against debtors, and pursue collection through garnishments, seizures and foreclosures with maximum efficiency and reasonable costs to maximize the potential for recovery from the debtor.
