COBRA Subsidy Extended - Again - Through May 31, 2010

On April 15, 2010, the President signed a law that extends unemployment benefits and the COBRA subsidy that helps individuals who lose their jobs with the cost of health benefits. The extension provides a COBRA premium subsidy for eligible individuals who are involuntarily terminated from employment through May 31, 2010. The law retroactively covers individuals who lost their jobs after the most recent COBRA subsidy expired on March 31, 2010.

More information is available at www.dol.gov/COBRA.
