Overview
Courtney is an associate in Walter | Haverfield’s Business Services Group. She is a trusted advisor who counsels clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and has assisted with complex venture-style corporate finance matters.
Courtney has advised clients in strategic and private equity acquisitions on matters ranging from first-time, family business transactions to Fortune 100 client acquisitions and everything in between. She loves learning about her clients’ business and goals and working with the deal team to realize the shared vision.
Courtney graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and holds a master’s degree in social sciences from The University of Chicago. She is a former history instructor and is active in the community, providing pro bono legal services through the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and volunteering for various non-profit organizations.
