Overview

DeMarcus focuses on patent law with an emphasis on patent prosecution in the software, electronic, and mechanical arts. In addition to preparing and prosecuting applications in the U.S., he has advised foreign clients on how to navigate U.S. patent law while keeping claim language consistent across their international portfolios. He also performs copyright and trademark prosecution.

DeMarcus’s legal experience is complemented by his active duty in the United States Air Force as an acquisitions officer. His experience is enhanced by projects that included coordination of a joint team of military personnel, Department of Defense contractors, Northrop Grumman and its subsidiaries in fielding, testing and maintaining the Global Hawk intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platform.
