If it doesn’t settle, we are the established full-service litigation and trial law resource you need.

For over 90 years, Walter Haverfield’s Litigation Group has been recognized for its experience in complex litigation and arbitration. We believe the most successful litigation results — whether achieved across the bargaining table or in court — occur when we are fully prepared to try each case through to the verdict.

Our trial-readiness focus drives successful and more effective results for our clients. We identify critical issues early and use them to our client’s advantage in the litigation and negotiation processes.

Our Proven Litigation Process

With a collaborative team of litigators and first-rate trial attorneys, we are engaged from the first sign of involvement up to, and including, trial and appeal. Our clients trust us to try their most significant disputes to verdict while knowing we are sensitive to the costs of litigation, both financial and otherwise. As we prepare for trial, we continually evaluate and communicate whether there is an alternative means to resolution.

We represent individuals in businesses of all sizes from family-owned to mid-market businesses and Fortune 500 companies. This wide range of experience allows us to tailor our services to fit a client’s specific needs and strategic objectives and effectively represent their interests in forums that span the country, including:

  • Administrative agencies
  • Arbitration and mediation panels
  • Federal and state trial and appellate courts

Our litigation attorneys in our Cleveland and Columbus offices are consistently ranked and recognized by Best Lawyers®, Super Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell, and more. At Walter Haverfield, we pride ourselves on becoming each client’s trusted advisor for all their litigation needs.
