WH Burkley Elects Alexandra Dattilo, Peggy VanRumppe, and Matthew McClelland to the Partnership

WH Burkley is pleased to announce that Alexandra Dattilo, Peggy VanRumppe and Matthew McClelland have been elected to the firm’s partnership.

Alexandra is a member of WH Burkley’s Litigation Group. She is an experienced litigation attorney and business advisor with a collaborative and results driven approach that has proven successful in problem solving, fostering trust, and mitigating risks across a broad range of legal disciplines, including, litigation, dispute resolution, general counsel services, management, and corporate. Alexandra currently serves as the President of the Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter. She holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a B.A. from Miami University.

Peggy is a member of WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group. A business and real estate attorney with more than two decades of experience, she advises developers, lenders, and public entities in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial and residential properties, as well as sophisticated capital lease and bond financing structures. Peggy brings a practical, collaborative approach to managing transactions, coordinating due diligence, and mitigating risk from inception through closing. She holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

“Peggy’s deep experience and practical insights have been instrumental to the successful representation of many firm clients and their most significant transactions, as well as the continued growth and strength of our Real Estate Group,” said Tyler Bobes, Firm Administrative Partner and Chair of WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group.

Matt is a member of WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group. He counsels clients on a broad range of real estate transactions, including land use and development matters, real estate financings, real estate tax appeals and exemptions, as well as commercial and residential leasing disputes. He also works with Homeowner Associations and Condominium Associations, assisting boards with documents, disputes and issues in planned communities. In addition, Matt draws on his extensive knowledge of Pennsylvania and West Virginia oil and gas law, advising on title rights and curative measures, as well as leasing and conveying rights. He holds a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and a B.S. from Penn State University.
