Learn about Peggy

Peggy brings more than two decades of business law experience to Walter Haverfield. She is experienced at managing all aspects of the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties and at negotiating leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Peggy also conducts due diligence reviews of properties and coordinates with brokers, title agents, surveyors and other third-party resources. Prior to Walter Haverfield, Peggy worked for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as assistant general counsel.

  • Drafts, reviews and negotiates purchase agreements, easements, license agreements and leases
  • Reviews and analyzes title commitments, surveys and other due diligence materials
  • Handles a wide range of business-related issues including entity formation, asset sales, transfers of ownership interests, equipment leasing and consulting agreements
  • Has experience with charitable donations of historic conservation easements and development restrictions
  • Has provided legal guidance to various company departments and been responsible for a wide range of commercial contracts including supplier agreements, service agreements, facility rentals, performance agreements, deeds of gifts, loan agreements, licensing agreements and sponsorship agreements
