Garrett is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Group, where he focuses on real estate development and construction, corporate real estate services, and commercial real estate finance. He represents developers, lenders, borrowers, contractors, and property owners in complex commercial real estate and construction transactions — guiding clients through every stage of a project’s structure, finance, and development.

His work includes drafting and negotiating construction contracts, architect and engineer agreements, and development‑related service contracts. He also advises clients on project delivery methods, construction risk allocation, payment and performance issues, lien and bond matters, and dispute avoidance strategies. Garrett helps stakeholders navigate issues that arise during design, pre‑construction, and active construction, ensuring projects remain aligned with business, regulatory, and financing requirements.

Garrett’s experience also includes structuring and forming a wide range of business entities involved in real estate investments and development initiatives, including joint ventures, limited liability companies, and corporations. He regularly assists clients with transaction planning, due diligence, acquisition and disposition matters, and financing structures.

Before joining the firm, Garrett worked for a prominent real estate development company, where he gained hands‑on experience in the ground‑up development of large multifamily projects. He also contributed to the acquisition and disposition of a variety of commercial and residential properties, giving him a strong foundation in deal execution from both the legal and business perspectives.
