Overview
Ethan Clark is an associate in the Walter | Haverfield’s Litigation Services Group. He represents clients on a wide variety of commercial issues, including fiduciary and shareholder disputes, breach of contract, and landlord/tenant litigation. Ethan has experience at the trial court level and in appellate proceedings. He joined Walter | Haverfield in November 2020.

Experience
- Sole trial attorney on multiple property subrogation cases, as well as second chair on a trial against a general and subcontractor involving a condominium fire.
- Takes depositions of parties, experts, adjusters, and critical non-party fact witnesses.
- Authored a brief before the Ohio Court of Appeals concerning breach of contract, vicarious liability and inherently dangerous activities, and a brief before the Michigan Court of Appeals involving proximate causation in a products liability matter.
- Conducted fact and expert discovery on a variety of civil matters, including contractor/subcontractor negligence, breach of contract, product and construction defects.
- Works with experts on all facets of a case, including attending scene and laboratory examinations, identifying the cause and origin of a loss, and preparing the experts for depositions and trial.
- Submitted contentions and responses before both Arbitration Forums, Inc. and American Arbitration Association (AAA), and presented before arbitration panels in judicially-mandated arbitration.
