Bob joined Walter | Haverfield in 1970. After gaining experience in general practice, he began specializing in estate planning. He is also a specialist in the administration of probate estates and trusts. Bob has valuable insight into the pitfalls of overcomplicated and inefficient estate plans. Bob has successfully administered more than 750 probate estates during his 45-year career, both modest and multi-million dollar estates with multiple complex probate and tax issues.

Bob provides counsel to a wide range of business owners, executives, professionals and their spouses in such matters as estate and tax planning, wills, family trusts, probate litigation and estate administration. A substantial portion of Bob’s practice serves clients who also use the firm as their business or professional legal counsel. Bob is well-versed in credit shelter and marital deduction planning, disclaimer planning, QTIP planning, Qualified Domestic Trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and family limited partnerships. He also counsels families regarding guardianships.
